Professional Investment Services' (PIS) core operations are the provision of financial advice and the distribution of financial and risk products to individuals who recognise the need to build their wealth and plan for the future.

PIS is Australia's leading independently-owned network of financial advisers and accountants. PIS aims to be a partner of choice to its advisers and accountants by providing them quality services, support and education to enhance their professionalism.

PIS' network of advisers and accountants provide their clients with quality financial advice and a wide choice of products and services to suit their individual circumstances.

Since inception, PIS has grown rapidly in a competitive market. The unique and engaging business model that connects and builds mutually beneficial relationships between financial advisers and accountants has been the main driver of this growth.

PIS is a platinum sponsor of the Association of Financial Advisers (AFA), principal member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and member of the Financial Services Council (FSC).

History

Professional Investment Services Pty Ltd (PIS) was formed by five financial advisers and seven accountants determined to maintain independence in the financial services landscape by building an asset for all of its stakeholders. After obtaining a Financial Services Licence on 6 August 1996 and its Australian Financial Services Licence on 8 December 2003. Equity within the parent company was offered to the PIS network of accountants, advisers and staff.

Having a long desired goal to be on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), PIS became a wholly owned subsidiary of Centrepoint Alliance Limited (CAF), an ASX listed company in December 2010.

PIS is governed by the CAF Board comprising of three representatives from Centrepoint Wealth Limited and CAF equally.
