The close economic relationship New Zealand shares with Australia made it a natural market to explore when Professional Investment Services looked to expand internationally.
In April 2001 Professional Investment Services New Zealand, a subsidiary of Professional Investment Holdings, was formed.
As of 2008, PIS NZ has 102 accounting firms, 86 financial advisers and 18 mortgage brokers. The Group works with 13 leading financial product providers and is headed by General Manager David Keys.
The Group's valuable contribution to international operations is not limited solely to the financial services market. PIS NZ was instrumental in promoting the RMS InControl™ software, which is now the market leader in Risk Analysis software. The software was made available to the broader New Zealand adviser market in 2008.
PIS NZ is regulated by the New Zealand Securities Commission and Companies Office.
