David Johnstone

David has over 25 years business experience and has successfully started, owned and operated many businesses. With vast experience gained nationally and internationally in finance, licensing, merging and acquiring businesses he has arranged significant funding for Management Buyouts and Leveraged Buyouts.Prior to joining Professional Investment Services as CEO, David worked as a consultant to Professional Investment Holdings Limited for a 10 month period and was instrumental in the proposed merger of PIH and ASX-listed Centrepoint Alliance Limited and finalising the new business relationship with CUA.
Before joining PIH, David was CEO of Bartercard Australia Ltd. Bartercard provides goods and services finance to a customer base of more than 75,000 worldwide with in excess of $1.3 billion annually in cashless transactions operating in nine countries.
He also held the position of Group General Manager PR Finance Group LTD, an alternative finance company servicing 55,000 customers Australia-wide whilst managing exponential growth rates of 300 percent.
David is a past Chairman of the International Reciprocal Trade Association a US-based global industry association for the barter industry. He is accredited as a business leader and mentor with the International Executive Network “Managers and Directors”.
