Group General Manager - Advice
Stephen Poole first joined Professional Investment Services (PIS) in March 1998. Stephen re-joined the Group in 2009 after 15 months absence, where he was general manager - channel advice for Suncorp Life, previously Suncorp Wealth Management. As Group General Manager – Advice, Stephen manages the Group’s advice proposition. This role requires continued development, enhancement and promotion of the already extensive service offering to ensure the continuation of the Group’s market leading position.
This role is pivotal to the sustained future growth of the Group and, through upholding the Group’s unique business methodology and culture, drives the advice team to deliver productivity and development goals.
Stephen’s extensive working knowledge of the PIS business model as well as his previous role as general manager – channel advice adds value to this role.
Stephen holds a Diploma in Financial Markets and a Diploma in Financial Planning. He is a senior associate of Finsia and a member of the Institute of Company Directors and Financial Planning Association.
Stephen has 21 years experience in the financial services industry and has previously worked with Macquarie Bank, BZW Investment Management (Barclays) and Suncorp.
