Professional Investment Holdings and its wholly owned subsidiaries has a culture of giving back to the community, whether it's in the form of charitable donations or in supporting various sports people and teams.
Charity
The Professional Investment Group of Companies use its international conferences as a forum for fundraising and supporting a range of charities, from children's hospitals to research foundations. Each conference destination is used to fund raise for a different charity. In 2005, delegates contributed to the Tsunami Appeal and subsequently, to mark the donations, a children's park in Sri Lanka was named after the Group. Many of the 2009 conferences raised considerable funds towards the Victorian Bushfire Appeal.
The Annual Fund Manager vs. Professional Investment Services Cricket Day helps to brighten the lives of hospitalised children around Australia by contributing to the Starlight Children’s Foundation. Over many years PIS has made regular donations from the Group's Golf Day to the Make a Wish Foundation, assisting seriously ill children make their dreams come true. During 2008 and 2009 additional charities supported by the Group were the Variety Club and the McGrath Foundation.
Sponsorship
